Work has begun on the construction of two new classrooms in our school.
This work should be completed before Easter and we look forward to moving into them. 
Ground Work begins.

ON TUESDAY LAST JANUARY 18TH JANE FAY OF NEWB PRESENTED THE ATTENDANCE AWARDS TO CORMAC, SCOTT,DARRAGH,KEVIN AND JAMES. ALL OF THESE BOYS MISSED NO DAY IN SCHOOL LAST YEAR, WELL DONE BOYS. A SPECIAL WELL DONE TO CORMAC AND SCOTT ,WHO RECEIVED A CERT. FOR 5 YEARS UNBROKEN ATTENDANCE.

We had our deferred Christmas concert in the school hall on Tuesday January 18th . A performance to warm the heart from all classes. Songs ,poems, sketches and tin whistle were were the order of the day. Parent’s filled the hall and all classes were were given a rousing reception. Parent’s Association organised spot prizes and a raffle which was a great success. Every child was presented with a Selection Box, by the Parent’s Association and all went home happy.
